I have had a long career in real estate management and development. Many of my projects over the years have been “value add projects” which involves taking an existing property and improving it functionally and aesthetically in order to increase its value. The sector of multi-residential apartments, in particular, taught me how to elevate the environment and consider amenities that could be added to attract and retain tenants. Multi-residential tenants are no different than single family homeowners. They want amenities (including outdoor living space) that enhance their “at home” experience.

  On the personal side, my wife and I have built 4 personal homes over the years and each of them had unique outdoor living spaces that were purposefully created to reflect our personalities and our desire for functional outdoor living. In many cases the goal was to blur the lines “bringing the outdoors in and the indoors out”. I loved every minute of creating and building these spaces and after many years of neighbors and friends complementing my work and saying you should do this for a living, I decided to do just that. 

 My commercial real estate background and contracting my personal residences has earned me robust technical expertise to go along with my creative side. I am uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between a great design on paper and bringing it to fruition on the ground. I have lived on both coasts and in the Midwest so I have experienced every climate, soil, plantlife and architectural style imaginable. I have a wide palate ranging from rustic to modern.
